Gentle movement for chronic tension, posture, and whole-body ease
LIVE ONLINE MOVEMENT CLASSES
For people who have tried yoga, physical therapy, fitness, or bodywork and still feel stuck in the same pattern. I teach a live, breath-led movement practice built on the GYROKINESIS® framework and guided through connection, trust, and embodiment.
THE APPROACH
Stop isolating the symptom. Understand the whole body.
You may have worked on one painful or restricted area for a long time and still feel like something isn't connecting.
I look beyond the individual symptom to understand how the whole body is moving and compensating — how the spine, joints, breath, alignment, and movement patterns influence one another.
Through breath-led movement, spirals, and guided pathways, I help you become more aware of these patterns so you can begin to move with greater connection and understanding.
The body works as a system. So we work with it as one.

ABOUT ME
Movement that begins with listening.
I’ve spent more than 20 years studying movement, bodywork, breath, and the ways the body adapts to injury, stress, and life experience. My work is rooted in the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® frameworks, shaped through my own experience as a movement practitioner and bodyworker.
Today, I teach a breath-led movement practice that brings together what I’ve learned with a focus on connection, trust, body awareness, and whole-body movement.
I’m less interested in telling your body what to do and more interested in helping you learn to listen to what it is already telling you.
Work with the whole body, not just one part.
WHY THIS APPROACH
Whole-Body Connection
Rather than focusing only on where you feel a problem, we explore how different parts of the body work together through movement, breath, and alignment.
Understanding Your Patterns
Learn to notice habitual ways of holding, compensating, and moving so you can develop a clearer understanding of your own body.
Movement Without Force
There is no need to push, perform, or force your body into a shape. The practice invites you to explore movement with attention and curiosity.
Live, Individual Guidance
Whether you're practicing privately or in a small group, Maggie teaches live and responds to what she sees, offering guidance as you move.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
This is a live, breath-led movement practice inspired by the GYROKINESIS® framework and taught through my own approach to connection, trust, body awareness, and whole-body movement. We work with breath, spinal movement, spirals, alignment, and the relationship between different parts of the body rather than focusing on isolated exercises or fitness.
The movement framework comes from GYROKINESIS®, while how I teach it — with live observation, individualized guidance, and an emphasis on listening to your body — comes from my own experience and approach.
-
No. You don't need to have practiced GYROKINESIS® or any other movement method before joining a group class.
We begin with the fundamentals because this work isn't about how many classes you've taken or how advanced a movement looks. It's about developing an understanding of your own body, breath, alignment, and movement patterns. Even with years of movement experience, there is always more to discover.
-
No. While movement and breath are central to the practice, the intention isn't to work out, perform movements, or simply follow along with another exercise class.
The work is focused on developing greater awareness of how your body moves and connects as a whole — including your breath, spine, alignment, and movement patterns. My approach is about understanding what your body is doing rather than pushing it to achieve a particular shape or performance.
-
If you're curious but not ready to book a class, you can subscribe to my email list and receive a short introductory practice to experience the movement for yourself.
If you'd rather talk with me first, you can also book a free 15-minute consultation. We can discuss your movement history, what you're looking for, and whether my approach feels like the right place for you to begin.
CLIENT STORIES
Real experiences from people learning to understand their bodies differently.
"I'd done years of PT, two rounds of yoga teacher training, and more massage than I can count. Nothing explained why my hip still locked up. Four sessions in, Maggie showed me the pattern nobody else had even looked for."
— LISA.M
"I needed to go slowly, and Maggie never once made that feel like a problem. It took time to trust the process. It was worth it."
— CHLOE.R
