Healing TMJ and Teeth Trauma
I want to take a moment to write about healing, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) and how does trauma affect the teeth. So, have a moment and take few deep breaths for me. Have a cup of bone broth or tea for me?! Perhaps, a moment to savor the warmth while breathing deeply into this very moment in time and space.
Ah, vastness! Yes, spaciousness is the key for everything in my life, and if you don’t have the time for this right now, I hope you give me a smile and have a beautiful day!
And, now if you do, let’s dive deeper into the dysfunction in the jaw joint and the surrounding muscles, and the following symptoms:
Headaches and neck tension
Facial pain or soreness
Teeth grinding (bruxism)
Jaw clicking or locking
Let’s tune into the long held emotional tension caused by physical injury, stress, anxiety, and chronic grinding. Ah, as we are tuning into the tension may we invite the relaxation, perhaps massaging the teeth and the jaw as you are reading. A sincere invitations to relax the jaw and slightly open the mouth as you are working some magical intention to let go of any stagnation. Ok, keep on enjoying these moments as I write about the common health issue that people have when they first start talking to me, and understanding the held traumatic patterns in their jaw and faces…I love restoring balance while releasing tension the very first time I get to hear about the physical trauma held in the body, and reconnecting to what any dental work that you ever had in your mouth to offer more insights.
Personally, I have been in the dentist’s chair since I was 5 years old. And, currently I am working with 20th dentist on root canal infection. Fun times growing with the life lessons and healing I have received over the past four decades of my life.
Let’s touch base on the emotional and energetic release that the jaw line stores such as unspoken emotion of fear and anger. This is where I apply Gyrokinesis somatic movement with gently shaking, drumming and tapping through the meridians. This is where we work in understanding people pleasing, control issues, where we suppress our truth, and where we have hold the tension as we open to soften the scar tissues in the jaw. This is where the body communicates and opens to receive the healing guidance in each session as we dive deeper into the gift of growth while healing the root cause of the trauma.
Your teeth hold so much insight when comes to emotional and ancestral trauma patterns. The gift of the teeth trauma opens the door to the root cause and the many pathways to step into the teachings you are here to experience. It’s a transformation inner journey that opens the treasure box of bringing greater clarity, purpose and strength to you inner wisdom.
Healing TMJ and ancestral trauma that is unresolved shows up in deep confusion, grief, fear and disconnection. By addressing the root causes of these symptoms, we are gifted the experience of pain relief and greater sense of personal power.
Now, let’s have a moment to enjoy our cup of bone broth or tea. Have few deeper exhales for me. And, know that I am here to enjoy the gift of ancestral healing and generational trauma so we can cut the chains and not carry what no longer serves :o) . Teeth trauma has been my forte and a gift in transforming the ancient, subconscious or unconscious beliefs we hold within. releasing the old pattern and reprogramming new physical movement memory patterns in the tissues through breathwork, bodywork, Gyrokinesis principles, sacred plan medicine, scar tissue release therapy, meditation and mindfulness.
Creating the ripple effect of transcending teeth or physical trauma is the gift that I am here to witness and feel the effect of healing for the next generations to enjoy and live pain free.
On that note, I am here to work with people who want to experience eep healing and joy, and create more space for higher frequency and energy.
In closing, I hope you have a moment to reflect on what does teeth trauma, root canal, dental work symbolizes for you. Where else in your body do you hold tension when you are stressed? How does your breathing body respond or reacts when you feel unheard?
